Sally Gap Cycle Tour
Why not explore scenic County Wicklow from the seat of your bike rather than out a boring tour bus window…
This tour allows you the freedom to stop where you want to stop while taking in the fresh air of the beautiful countryside. A spread of scenic shots await you and your camera while cycling down the Sally Gap, passing Glenmacnass Waterfall, bogs, and bright purple heather (in the fall), to the small town of Laragh for lunch at a warm, inviting traditional pub, turning west to discover picturesque Glendalough and the round tower, then heading south to the small village of Rathdrum to Hidden Valley Holiday Park.
This is a self-guided tour, so you can take the journey at your own pace. Truly breathtaking scenery will have your shutter clicking with delight!
The starting point for the tour is at the Sally Gap crossroads. Distance from the top of Sally Gap to Hidden Valley Holiday Park is approximately 31km. If you decide to visit Glendalough, then you need to add 4km to your journey for a total of 35km.
